152,22km Valtimo – Joensuu
I didn´t start early, as I wanted to, but I don´t care anymore, I´m getting use to it. The weather was nice, as yesterday, but I needed my gloves and jacket for the first couple of hours.
The first 10 kilometers were a bit painful, my ankles hurt. I stopped several times and I went really slowly. Suddenly the pain went away and I started going fast, much faster than before. This area is almost completely flat, so I guess this is the reason of the speed.
Around here are mainly forests and lakes, but I start seeing lots of plantations too. Sometimes I get the feeling I´m much more south than Finland
I stopped in a couple small towns, but no trace of the book I want. Today I almost run out of water, I think I should start being much more careful as it gets warmer. I might get an extra bottle.
I got to Joensuu in the middle of the afternoon, where I met another couchsurfing host, Niina. She even cooked me a delicious vegetarian dinner. Thanks! Later I met her boyfriend, they are really nice. Niina went with me for a walk and showed me the city and explained some things.
I leave a picture of the traditional place to wash the carpets in Joensuu and a picture of a lake. (At the bottom I put another picture but it´s much more for the people who live close to me. Romo is the place where I went to school and where I still go out with my friends).

152,22km Valtimo – Joensuu
No he empezado muy pronto, pero ya no me importa, ya me he acostumbrado. El tiempo era muy agradable, como ayer, pero he necesitado la chaqueta y los guantes las primeras horas.
Los 10 primeros km han sido un poco dolorosos, me dolían los tobillos. He parado varias veces y he ido despacio. De repente el dolor se me ha ido y he empezado a ir rápido, mucho más que antes. Esta zona es muy plana, supongo que por eso voy tan bien.
Todavía hay muchos bosques y lagos, pero ahora empiezo a ver plantaciones también. A veces tenía la sensación de estar mucho más al sur.
He parado en un par de pueblos, pero no hay rastro del libro que quiero. Hoy casi me quedo sin agua, tengo que empezar a controlar eso, ahora que empieza a hacer más calor. Puede que coja otra botella.
Cuando he llegado a Joensuu era media tarde por lo que las tiendas estaban cerradas. He conocido a una nueva persona de Couchsurfing, Niina, quien me ha acogido. También me ha preparado una sabrosa comida vegetariana. ¡Gracias! Después he conocido a su novio, son una pareja muy agradable. Niina me llevado a dar una vuelta por la ciudad y me ha explicado un montón de cosas de la ciudad.
He puesto arriba una foto del sitio tradicional para lavar las alfombras en verano y la de un lago. Abajo tenéis un cartel dirección Romo, que es donde he ido al colegio y sigo quedando con mis amigos (aprovecho para saludar a los estudiantes y profesores del colegio Romo). Me ha tentado coger el atajo, pero prefiero pasar por Rusia.
¡Qué maravilla conocer a gente tan acogedora y que te cuenten cosas del lugar! así es como se conocen realmente los sitios.

Sabes, en tu narración transmites mucha tranquilidad.....se ve que eres un aventurero que disfruta las cosas, que se para a observar y a reflexionar...yo diría que eso es saborear la vida.
