For the last couple of days I´ve been without internet. Well, actually I have it in school, but when I´m there I´m working. So for the next days, I hope not more than a week, I won´t really blog. I will post some things, but not as much as before.
I do have some news though.
I finally booked the flight to Honningsvåg! I took it for the 27th of April, one day later than what I had planned. But there is a big problem. I called the company (SAS) to tell them that I will be taking a bike. I have to change planes 2 times, in Oslo, and Tromsø. Till Tromsø, they have already told me, that there is no problem, my bike fits just fine. The problem is afterwards. The plane is so small that they can't guarantee that there will be place, not even that morning when I take the first flight. So if i decide to take it, my bike might get stock in Tromsø. I don't really know what to do about this, how is this possible? I will call again to see if they offer me a solution. If not, I will have to decide if I want to take my chances of starting in Trømso, or if I should change the flight to Alta or Hammerfest.
As I don't have internet (just randomly when I can take the neighbour's, seconds at a time), I took some guides from the library (which is great by the way), to start planning the route. So far I only chose the way through Norway. Most certainly I will cross to Finland, without going to Sweden. I also decided where I will cross the Russian border, but i still have to see exactly the way through Finland.
I will put a map as soon as I have the chance. For now I will leave you with a picture of the planning.
Sin internet
Durante los últimos días no he tenido conexión a internet. Espero que se arregle esta semana, pero no sé muy bien si va a ser posible. Tengo conexión en el colegio, pero también tengo que trabajar. Así que hasta que se arregle, no habrá muchos posts. Intentaré escribir alguno, como ahora, cuando tenga noticias.
¡Ya he reservado el vuelo a Honningsvåg! Lo he cogido para el 27 de abril, un día después de lo que había planeado. Pero hay un gran problema. He llamado a SAS (la compañía con la que vuelo), para avisar de que voy a llevar una bici. Tengo que hacer escala en Oslo y en Tromsø. Hasta Tromsø no hay ningún problema, la bici coge perfectamente. Pero como el último avión es tan pequeño no me pueden garantizar que haya sitio, ni siquiera ese mismo día cuando coja el primer vuelo. Realmente no entiendo como puede ocurrir. Volveré a llamar, a ver si me ofrecen una solución. Como no me ofrezcan nada, tendré que decidir si jugármela a que me quede en Tromsø y empezar el viaje desde ahí, o cambiar el vuelo a Alta o Hammerfest.
Como no tengo internet, quitando los pocos segundos que le cojo al vecino, he cogido unas guías de la biblioteca. Con ellas he empezado a planificar la ruta. Ya he pensado el camino a través de Noruega. Seguramente no pase por Suecia. Ya he visto por donde voy a cruzar la frontera rusa, pero me queda por ver como voy a cruzar Finlandia exactamente.
Cuando pueda pondré un mapa de lo que he decidido. De momento os pongo una foto de la planificación.

ReplyDeleteYo cuando hice mi viaje del año pasado, volé de Oslo a Alta con Norwegian. Es "barata", y te permiten llevar bici (aunque hay que hacer la reserva por teléfono). Además, conseguí que no me cobraran la bici, pues me preguntaron en el aeropuerto si la había reservado (sí), no si la había pagado! Bueno, en Alta hay un cámping, que aunque no sea muy bueno, te da donde poner la tienda sin tener que pensarlo mucho. Luego al día siguiente cogimos el autobús a Honnigsvag. No me acuerdo del precio exacto, pero fue mas de lo que teníamos en efectivo. Por suerte el autobús aceptaba tarjetas. En el aeropuerto de Alta coincidimos con otros dos chicos ciclistas.. ellos lo pasaron un poco peor (sus bicis se habían quedado en Oslo), pero los vimos al día siguiente, y ya les habían llegado. Qué mas... ah! ojo que no te intenten vender pizza en el cámping de Alta!! Venden pizza congelada, pero no tienen cocina con horno! También te diría que como vas a pasar por Finlandia, lleva algo para los mosquitos. No es broma que haya muchos, ni el que sean enormes. Venden redecillas para la cara que están muy bien, aunque parezca que llevas burka. Aunque bueno, como vas tan pronto, puede que no tengas demasiado mosquito.. aunque en abril imagino que hará frío por allí arriba!! (a finales de junio llevaba cuatro o cinco capas incluso en las cuestas arriba, y hay nieve bastante cerca de la carretera). Bueno, ya basta de asustarte :P espero que te esté yendo bien la preparación, y que hayas conseguido los permisos para Rusia.
